The Secret Service screwed up, but they also have to contend with this:
<snip>
The Secret Service has been bowing to pressure by some protectees such as Mary Cheney, Dick Cheney's daughter, who insisted that agents take her friends to restaurants. That is not the job of the Secret Service, and when agents refused she got her detail leader removed by Secret Service management.

Cheney probably threated to take somebody hunting.

1. That's funny cuz people probably wouldn't know they were their friends if there were no
secret service in tow.

What fucking idiots.

3. You're probably closer than you think.
Back in 2000, after the election, but way before it was handed to Cheneybush, Lynne Cheney used to show up in
Highland Park Village in Dallas with a detail of about 10 Secret Service guys. Thought she was A-Rod or something.

The election wasn't even decided yet, and here she was going around being protected like she was the Queen of England.

Of course, even in Dallas, she wasn't exactly a revered figure, even back then, but the fact is no one cared who she
was--both back then as now.

4. It many jobs it may be OK to screw up...
but not when you are providing security for the President of the United States.

Dick Cheney's daughter is nowhere near as important. But if I was Dick Cheney, I would have had a LONG talk with my daughter. On the other hand, my daughter wasn't raised to think that she was superior to other people and to take advantage of them.

Cheney always struck me as an asshole. Why would he raise his daughter differently?

5. Obama needs to revoke or at least modify his EO giving them SS protection.
At least remove SS protection from all in the Cheney family except the ex VP and his wife. After asking Secret Service if protection is needed for them.

Personally, I think that none of the Cheney's should continue to receive SS protection. They only have it because Obama signed an EO for it.

Liz Cheney or any of her siblings should have had protection anyway. Children of former presidents are only protected until age 16.

If they want SS Protection then they should be made to pay for it....Why the fuck am I (The Taxpayer) paying for the SS to drive this "Deleted Expletive" around?!

10. Normally protection is only for 6 months after they leave office.
One thing we can look forward to is that Bush and wife will lose their protection 10 years after they left office. Presidents starting with Bush do not have lifetime protection. Of course, Bush could die before the 10 years is up of natural causes.

After doing some research it appears that daughters Jenna and Barbara may have protection that was signed by scumbag Bush. And then extended by Obama.

11. Seriously
is there anything the Cheney's touched that was not corrupted? I actually had to shake that fuckers hand when he came to our base stateside. My Sergeant Major threatened to slam my ass back to the Stone Age with UCMJ if I had said what I wanted to say to Cheney.........
