2. To cleanse the palate of some of the awful tasting shit I've been reading and hearing today... |
|
MSM, this board, etc...
Looking forward to the smart president that we for so long did not have, addressing a complex matter.

7. Hearing stupid decisions from a smart President is worse than hearing it from Bush |
|
At least we expected him to take us into disaster.

11. Why? We already know what is going to be in it? |
|
Our President's expertise with our language isn't going to chnge my mind about the decision. Maybe that works for some people.

8. So that we can all realize, WE need to be the change we |
|
seek. The illegal war(s) have gone on long enough, it's time to bring the troops home & to start caring and acting on behalf of this country. We are going to straight to hell & the money bleed is now a hemorrhage. I'll be watching and because of the supposed troop surge to be announced, I am no longer hoping that common sense and democracy will return.
All of the bums that voted against health care reform & even those who voted for the poor excuse we are left with, and all the warmongerers need to be voted OUT. I'm going green alright, and it will be third party if this BS continues.
ENOUGH!

13. I want to make up my own mind |

before the talking heads get at it. This is a very important speech and decision for everyone and while I want the war to end now I feel it deserves to be listened to first.

15. because you are a thinking person- and you don't take others |
|
opinions as fact-
Listen to the man, then form your own opinion (as you are well qualified to do Shad).
Then you can back up your stand with first hand knowledge of what was said, rather than someone elses spin on it.
I'm going to shut up and listn myself now.

I didn't believe Bush and Cheney's lies and this makes me sick to hear Obama repeat them.

but I really can't take much more of this. It sounds like every other "war" speech I've heard over the past 50 years. I'm sick of them.
