What do people in military service and their families think about a buildup in Afghanistan?
Are they allowed to have opinions and express them?
Where is morale now? All the hardships these people have experienced at war and at home .... all the loss of life and limb.

2. Well...this means my son-in-law is headed back there for the 3rd time.
I can tell you what I think of it...not much at all! I am totally disappointed in this man's decision!

3. these warS have already broken two close family members of mine
I'm so fucking sick of using the terror card to scare us into warS that are breaking and killing hundreds of our countrymen.

We're dying for Shell, BP, Exxon et al.

I left military intel when it was OBVIOUS that we were going into warS back in early 2002. Now my brother works for a military defense contractor making weapons for deployment in Afghanistan's theatre.

5. Will you all please tell your loved ones
that those people in the streets, trying to preempt Bushco's preemptive war on Iraq, based on clearly (we knew then) false pretenses, had this and them in mind.

The needlessness of it, the horror stories over there AND the unnecessary horror stories back here, it's truly heartbreaking.

Another generation painted and haunted by the terror of war.

6. As a person in uniform you have no right to an opinion
as a relative, I am sure it sucks, sent hubby twice... and it sucks... and while I protested and was against it, since Iraq was a lie, there is a limit.
