My Two Cents on AfPak and the speech

For those who said this was all part of his campaign, they are right. Obama did promise to 'finish' Afghanistan. He's always had paranoia about Pakistan.

If anyone is surprised they haven't been paying attention.

But whoever thinks this is a good idea - any of it - is an wrong. Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan - they are all suckholes that will suck us down, make us lose lives - loved ones. We will lose money - this surge is about as expensive as any of the other programs put together. And does it do any good? No, not really.



What bothers me, however, is how this is all coming together quickly. When it comes to Health care, nothing moves. People fight over every godamn bit of minutia with that bill. But send our kids to die in Afghanistan? Sure! Why the hell not!


We're screwed ladies and gentlemen.
