Gender double standard in Tiger Woods' situation
Radio pundits are reporting that the cops knew all along what happened...that wife had physically attacked Woods and smashed car window with club, not to rescue Tiger, but to get in a few more pops.

Imagine this situation with genders reversed. Female celebrity lying unconscious by crashed car. Face scratched and front tooth knocked out. Husband has smashed car window with club.
Would there be so much chortling and chuckling about this situation? Would the cops have reacted the same?

5. Perhaps Lifetime will make a movie about why it's OK for him to kill her.

All of which is my way of saying, "Who gives a shit? And why do newspapers think this trash is news?"

2. Tiger says that's not what happened.
Why should we believe radio pundits over the man himself?

13. Tiger hasn't 'said' one word. It's all lawyers' written statements.
He got bimbo #1 to deny it, probably with $$ payoff. But bimbo #2 has spilled the beans, with a recording of Tiger trying to hide things from his wife. There's more to come as Tiger's true personality is revealed. Great golfer (maybe steroid assisted) but arrogant, obnoxious, spoiled billionaire.

9. I doubt it....hasn't the press only been saying it was a $2.4 million house or something?
Seems kind of small for a celebrity in Florida so she can have that house.

7. I care even less about Tiger Woods' personal life than I care about
his golfing. That said, I am gonna make ONE comment: you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. That's what my college BF's dad told him when he found out that my BF was cheating on me. Of course, I just left him, but then there weren't untold millions and two kids involved.

8. First of all, there's no proof she was trying to kill him.
That said, I think cheating is as violent to a marriage as physical abuse - it's mental and emotional abuse.

Hell, I'd rather take a punch to the gut than be betrayed by someone I loved.

10. It was all a big misunderstanding
Edited on Wed Dec-02-09 12:39 PM by Vinnie From Indy
Tiger's wife was simply showing Tiger a new way to grip the club when taking a divot.

I could really care less about Tiger Wood's domestic problems. Now if the media could somehow link the Clenis, the Dalai Lama and Lindsay Lohann to the altercation at Tigers multi-million dollar home at 2:30am, that would be something completely different.

14. I've been saying that all along..huge double standards...I got attacked
when I mentioned the same thing in the Chris Brown/Rihanna situation - by all accounts Rihanna was violent, but was given the sympathy card
