America, without an anti-war Party, will be continuously at war.. |
|
As we have been for almost a decade now. There were Democrats that lined up to support George W Bush when he invaded Iraq, a sovereign country. Our entire nation became a country of war-mongers. And we have spent trillions of dollars on the war and the defense budget since their submission to neo-con philosophy.
It is not just a fad to be "anti-war". It is necessary. Otherwise, our nation will soon be broke. In fact, we already are broke. The "anti-war" Americans were such a small minority that they had no influence on American foreign policy for almost three decades now. We have always been at war with Eurasia. And we are paying the price.

1. Which is why I vote issues instead of party or politician. |
|
Votes are what politicians are after. If we give them to them without question because they serve a particular party, they have no need to earn them.
We have to make them come to us.

But if we don't vote for the Democrats, we will have the right-wingers in charge...

5. Which is like a choice between a teaspoon and tablespoon of arsenic. |
|
Unfortunately, the majority of the electorate will vote for whichever candidate soothes them the most. Only in times of crisis when the ordinary voter is effected or has good reason to believe he/she will be effected by events, will they pay even scant attention to the issues.
As for me, I will vote the issues for the sake of my own conscience. And, when told I'm "wasting my vote", or helping the Republicans, I will respond, "Show my how my single vote of conscience changed the outcome."

9. that's the fear that the rat bastards use to keep us under control... |
|
...and make no mistake, they play the fear card with such exquisite skill that most of the time we flog it ourselves and save them the trouble.

11. Multinational corps wouldn't pay out billions in bribes to our elected officials if they didn't work |

Who was the candidate who opposed this war? How about the one who opposed the bankster bailouts? Free trade? Globalism?
Eh?
