Why don't we just bulldoze the Himalayas between Pakistan & Afghanistan?
That is the Himalayas, right? It's just sitting in the way of everything.
Bulldoze it.

That'd take away all the Taliban hiding places so we could harden up
that border & train us up some good Afghan security guard forces & install a semi-democratic semi-government. It'd only take, what, a couple weeks and cost a few million or so, plus employ a lot of otherwise heroin farmers. But now just watch, a bunch of wayward naysayers and environ-ists will make fun of that, too, geesh, okay. :*

That's sure to get 'em.

Cheaper, faster, and more effective.

who talked about using nukes to perform "geoengineering".

10. How much does a bulldozer cost?
Five thousand? If we used ten, that's $50,000.
Cheaper than 90 billion or whatever? Hmm.
Who really uses those mountains, except the Taliban?
For the environo-ists, do they make solar bulldozers?

21. I realize (or rather hope) you are being a bit tongue-in-cheek
but five grand won't buy you a "bulldozer".

It barely buys you one of these;

24. I'd say a plan like that is going to cost at *least* $50,000.
I think we should consult William Kristol about this - because his thoughts would afford us the true road map on this endeavor. I think he may like this idea. :hi:

The price is right, and if he goes over budget by say 1 trillion give or take, I say plow West, er, or East, young (or older) man. What could possibly go wrong?

They we can put all the Afghan people to work sorting out the rubble and exporting it for fill dirt. Not to mention all the work created right here at home making those bunker buster bombs!

It's a win-win situation!

anymore. Can't win for losin'.

And then get Christo to put a curtain around it and charge
people to go inside the curtain and look at it, and pay
for the war that way. I think we're beginning to really simplify
things here and get some reason into this Afghanistan project
at long last.
