Shared Sacrifice and Responsibility

I think this is what we should be talking about. Where is the shared sacrifice and responsibility by the American People? For nearly eight years we have been "at war" and yet the American people have never been asked to do anything than wave a fucking flag.

Hell, we were told to go spend like fools after 9/11. Who is paying for these war expenses. Additionally we spend nearly 3/4 of a trillion dollars on a national defense which is more than the rest of the world COMBINED. Why are we not taxing people accordingly to pay for all of these expenses?

President Obama had the opportunity to convince the American People last night, but there was no mention of sacrifice of the American people to help defeat the enemy. God forbid we hear about becoming more energy efficient, paying more taxes by the wealthiest of Americans who have received the largest transfer of wealth in our history over the last 30 years.
