Very important primary race to replace Ted Kennedy in the Senate: volunteers needed for Progressive

PRIMARY IS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8th!!!!

The progressive candidate is Mike Capuano.

This is a close race and unfortunately, Martha Coakley, a woman who has DLC stamped on her forehead is getting a lot of consideration and momentum because of name recognition. She is the MA attorney general, I invite you to go to her website and read her position on issues. Absolutely no substance whatsoever.

This very important race is not getting the blogging and media attention that it deserves. We desperately need to elect more progressive Senators.

This is Ted Kennedy's SEAT. We must work to honor him and elect a true democrat to this seat.

If you have any time over the next five days to volunteer and do phone banking (no matter where you are), you can volunteer at the website above. If you are a Massachusetts voter, PLEASE get out and vote for Mike this coming Tuesday and call & email ALL your family and friends and REMIND them that the primary is on Tuesday and implore them to vote for Mike.

This is a very important election and a very important seat. There is still time to honor Ted and work to ensure a progressive candidate. The last thing we need is another corporate DLC politician in the Senate. It could very well happen if we don't work to help the progressive candidate NOW!

Not all Dems support PDA. I consider myself progressive, but to me an endorsement from PDA is a warning flag, not necessarily a positive.
