Is there a way that we can immediately.. |
|
get an injunction in every federal Court District and serve it on the same day to block every Federal Employee Tax payer assisted Health care because its against Americas civil rights to have taxpayer assisted health care for some of its citizens and not all.
Make an exemption on Military families, children under eighteen, senior citizens, handicapped and disabled, veterans. Also exempt The President and his family. As for the White House Staff i think its time Rahm understands that we are the people.

12. Fair enough, but honestly, I think he can probably afford health insurance |

even if he had to pay for his own.

5. Can't speak for the White House but most government employees - |
|
- health care is deducted from employee salary just like any other employer provided health care plan. The employee is paid a salary, from that salary is deducted the appropriate FICA, social security, etc. and their health insurance.
The health insurance is not paid by taxpayers. It is paid by the employees themselves.

9. Employees pay about 28% |
|
Employer (federal government) pays the rest.
Having said that I'm not in favor of this - it singles out to punish one group receiving employer sponsored benefits and not other groups receiving employer sponsored benefits. (Federal employee here, but don't use federal health care).

6. Since we elect congress |
|
we could justify revoking their health insurance couldn't we. Most of the federal government could be exempt. I think only those elected or appointed could be the ones we take action on.

7. I like the sentiment, but I'm not sure this is the way to go. Maybe throwing eggs at Rahm |

rotten fruit, or road kill, would get the message across better.

to me All right everybody k&r. Maybe its time we put it out there with all seriousness.Maybe some legal minds get together and start helping us out. And everybody pays taxes in some form or the other if they are working so it shouldn't matter about who the federal employee is. I am tired of this health care fight. It should not be a battle that the American people should have to have a fight over. It should be courtesy of life and being in a country as great as the United States it should come with being a citizen. Most businesses big or small cannot keep assuming the skyrocketing cost of basic health care. We can only be as good as the people are healthy. Good health leads to a better society. More productive workforce and a better economy. Why in the hell should they, elected officials, have the right to health care and a working salary on the backs of the very people they don't want to have it. I say lets get together and find a way to revoke their precious health care as soon as possible. Let the corporate dollars that they have already sold us out for pay for their health care i am quite sure that they have accumulated enough money where their ass won't be hurting. But think of all the entities around them that would. No better way to stop a troll under the bridge except by removing the bridge so you can see the troll and get rid of it.We are the people of the United States of America and we demand Health care for every person in this country and we are not going to stop until we get it and if you don't give it to us then we will work night and day until every member of the White House,Senate, and Congress no longer has it. Who ever gets it started you have my vote as well as my John Hancock.

First point: AMERICA doesn't have civil rights... people do.
Next point: So far there is no established legal right to health care outside of life or death emergencies in this country. I'm not debating that there SHOULD be, merely that there isn't.
Next point: The basis for health care provided by the gov't (outside of Medicare and Medicaid) is the same as the basis for the vast majority of Americans - it's an employer provided benefit. Their health care is on the same basis as every other worker in America who has employer provided health care - it's not some special award from the government provided to only some of its citizens - rather it's an employee benefit provided to ALL of its EMPLOYEES.
What is needed is single payer gov't run health care (like Tri-Care) or better yet a national health program like the Veterans Administration provides (or like the National Health in the UK). Attacking health care benefits of federal employees however is NOT the answer and is simply incorrect political grandstanding.

I'm not a fan of TriCare, but I would prefer that to a British-style NHS.

care what you call it medicare for all, health exchange, public option. who gives a sweet f--k. The citizens deserve a better health care delivery system so that all americans receive the same quality health care no matter what kind of insurance card they have or don't have. No matter what type of income they have or do not have. I see good decent health care as a basic human right. And when you think of all the pollutants, destruction, and havoc that has been contributed to most of the problems about good health. What is this half kill the people and finish them off by not letting have the ability to see a doctor. No this fight is just starting. Good quality health care is a basic human right and i don't give a damn if i have to pay more taxes for me,you, are grandchildren and their grandchild, and every citizen that is born in the United States of America regardless of sex, ethnic background, religious belief, sexual preferences, political parties, age,or any of the other stupid things that people have sold this country into believing that doesn't make sense. People run they ass around this country playing the conquer and divide game. No i will not go there with human lives .They say oh i believe in god and any other bs that gets them through but the minute you say something about decent human rights oh no.Build a bomb or start a war yes, yes. But to actually save lives with basic health care no? We the people of the United States of America Want health care for every one.And make sure it has mental health benefits because Michele Bachmann and Virginia Foxx are bi-polar}(
