Behind the scenes at Fox Noise when they heard that Franken co-sponsoed the Vitter/Cobrun amendment
I figure it went something like this.................

Roger Ailes: What's this I hear about Al Franken wanting to co-sponsor an amendment by Vitter and Coburn?

Toadies: That's right, boss. Apparently our guys tried some kind of bluff with the Public Option, and Franken called it.

Ailes: WHAT? Don't those idiots know Franken is sharper than both of them combined? Why didn't they object?

Toadies: Sir, it doesn't look good when you get up on the Senate floor and trash amendments you just offered,
or other Senators who want to co-sponsor them.

Ailes: Not even if it's Al Franken?

Toadies: 'Fraid not, sir.

Ailes: Well, shit, we're screwed. What's the point of our having idiot Senators who do whatever we want if
they get their asses handed to them every time they try to be cute and do something on their own without
checking with us first?

Toadies: Yes, sir. We're checking with both their staffs to find out who let this slip through, so that
we can arrange for an urgent trip for them somewhere in a light plane during a hail storm.

Ailes: Well, the midterms aren't for a year. I guess we can spare one. Order it now! And put a "D" in front
of Vitter's name and Coburn's name a couple of times so they KNOW we're pissed. Rupert and Rush are gonna
blow a gasket when they hear of this.
