Max BAUCUS a little WEASEL |
|
Edited on Mon Dec-07-09 12:24 PM by loyalkydem
From Ed Shultz web site
Sen. Max Baucus, D-MT, admits to trying to advance the professional career of a woman he was romantically involved with. This speaks directly to the level of his character and the length at which he will go to benefit himself.
This is a classic example of what we the tax payers have been subjected to. The man who kept the single payer debate out of the arena is now illustrating in his personal life for all of us to see, just how this works.
The Montana Senator has taken more money from the anti-medical reform faction in Washington than any elected official. Do you think a deal might have been cooked to keep single payer out of reach?
I said months ago this man needs to be replaced. Do we need any more evidence?
Max needs to be booted any one agree?

1. Yeah, I agree, but, sadly, he was just re-elected last year |
|
Kinda figure this is his last term and he wants to assure a comfy retirement for himself and those dear to him (if that goes beyond himself)

2. I suspect he may be the end of the (D) experiment in Montana. |
|
I had some hope for Max early on, but his Lt. Gov. was an (R), so really ... how transparent can they be?

10. Are you confusing Sweitzer(sp?) the Governor |
|
with Baucus the long term Senator? The other Senator Tester is Democrtaic too. Baucus has been there long enough to be chair of the Finance committee. He's been there since Dec 1978.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elie_Wieselhttp://www.amazon.com/Never-Tease-Weasel-Conder-Soule/dp/0819300950Of course, that book does not mention the most important reason one should not tease a weasel - they have very sharp teeth and claws and also a mean streak two feet wide.

a deal cooked up to keep single payer out of reach? What deal? The Democratic Presidential candidates punted single payer back in January of 2008 or earlier.
