Shit. Sarah Palin is a phenom. Ridicule her at your peril. There are a whole host of educated, adult women who think she's all that. I know them personally

One of my clients, a top notch cardiac nurse, married to one of the country's top cardiac surgeons, LOVES Sarah Palin and has indoctrinated her 16 year old daughter into her way of thinking. These are educated, elite people, definitely independents - not brain dead rednecks - who think Sarah Palin is fabulous.

I know I've said this before but we cannot afford to dismiss Sarah Palin's appeal. She's not going away.

It is a sad reflection on your client... I think she can win the Republican nomination but not the general election.

I don't see that she has any minority appeal... California has tipped to a non-white minority, Texas is about to tip. I don't think she can muster the electoral votes.

The other thing is .... I hope that the Democrats have a strategy of finding a non-Palin woman, down-to-earth, charismatic, smart, articulate and just set her up against Palin. I can't see them not grooming someone.

It's a long time till 2012... and her Republican competition is not going to fold their tents.
