The weather...
Another very cold front came across the Rockies last night and is headed toward the Midwest and all points east. It's gonna be a double whammy. More cold and more snow. Be prepared.

1. I woke up to 28 degrees
in Central California this morning. OK, I know Coloradans are snickering at that calling us "wussies' and all but for California, DAMN that's cold! Brought the critters in. I'm hoping my garden, orange and lemon trees survived.

7. 28 degrees in Southern Cal
Just outside of L.A. That's really cold for here.

Must mean that global warming isn't real. :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

2. I was rudely awakened just before 5 AM by my furry alarm clock
who was up early because she'd heard distant thunder. Twenty minutes later, it was a combination of thunder, lightning, sleet and then heavy snow for about half an hour.

Now it's sunny and cold.

Careful out there, when it gets over the Rockies, it's going to turn nasty.

4. It's not going to be so bad here in KC.
The storm is going North of us. Thank goodness. Its cold and damp and below freezing. We are just supposed to get some ice, freezing rain, sleet and snow - maybe a total of 1 to 4 inches total.

But it is going to get very cold and very windy - like it always does right after a snow storm moves thru. That kind of cold and wind together is really miserable.
