8. Were you able to see Bernie on Rachel? Essentially |
|
they don't know what the real deal is, but he feels the trade-offs are weakening the PO.

13. All I know is I don't know. We're gonna have to wait on this one - at least until |
|
we SEE Reid making some sort of statement.

- He's not clear -- nobody is -- as to what's in this package.
- Bill does a lot of good thing, but if we're serious, single payer is the only way.
- 10 Senators, 5 progressive, 5 conservative and been locked in a room.
- People 55 can opt into Medicare for a premium.
- He thinks they're also talking about giving States more responsibility.
- he doesn't think the PO is actually dead, but there are tradeoffs
- the Reps have decided they're more interested in serving the insurance companies.
- maybe there might be an expansion of Medicaid
- Nobody has the final word, but it's a trade off and it's weakening the PO.

11. Me, too -- the problem is that he and they don't know what those 10 Senators |
|
are cooking up exactly.
I'm sure we'll hear more over the next little while.
Even though it makes my head spin, if Bernie is happy, then I'll be happy. So let's hope for a happy Bernie! :hi:

10. Said the PO had been so weakened these trade-offs an improvement. Rendell suggested state/or |
|
regulatory mechanism for cost containment for those of us who are not Medicare and Medicaid.

He's carrying water for the Democrats with this... WTF? This whole thing is complete FAIL. Sanders has gone down SEVERAL pegs for his support of this completely useless "reform"...
