Thousands turn out for Lakewood Police Officers' Memorial
http://www.king5.com/

More than 20,000 were in attendance at the Tacoma Dome, and many more watched on TV or online the memorial service for the four Lakewood Police officers murdered in cold blood nine days ago.

Hours before the official memorial service for the fallen Lakewood police officers began at the Tacoma Dome, hundreds of mourners paid their respects at the Lakewood Police Department.

A procession of more than 2,000 police and fire vehicles from more than 150 agencies delayed the start of the Lakewood police memorial at the Tacoma Dome.

An honor guard opened the ceremony at the Tacoma Dome. Every officer in the arena stood at attention and saluted as the families of the four officers and members of the Lakeland Police Department were led to their seats. The service had been delayed by the massive procession of police and emergency vehicles.

2. I am kind of wondering where they are all eating and sleeping tonight
A lot of people from all over. They came from Boston, NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, Oakland, Canada, Australia...20 states.

Bitter cold. Took hours for the patrol cars to go by. A moving memorial.
