Remembering Pearl Harbor - a short rant I gave on Obama's facebook page

Is there any campaign promise besides finishing the job in Afghanistan that can be kept? Any campaign promise at all? As a registered Democrat, but proud Liberal that worked very hard to get you elected, tell Rahm Emmanuel WE ARE YOUR BASE! (insulting for him to say that Democrats have no base! What are we the people that took to the polls then if not your base?!?) It gets a little disheartening to see even **smaller things like "Don't ask Don't tell" to not get repealed! I'll remember Pearl Harbor but not forget our troops currently dieing overseas another holiday season for no clear reason. " <end quote>


I do still support our President but take issue with other things going on in his administration. It's important to remember it's always OK to disagree with the President. Remember, when the Right agreed blindly in * that caused us on the Left to rip our hair out? I'll continue to support the President but will never stop trying to hold his feet to the fire on campaign promises and issue that effect "Main Street"!
