Simple. The Barbie Glamour Jet.

Not satisfied with making little girls feel inadequate as they DON'T develop into life-size Barbies, they've decided to have them aspire to somehow reach that station in life where they have their own private jet.

(Not that they couldn't get there by working their way up the corporate ladder, or plain old hard work...)

Rec or unrec or hide the tread, I don't care, I just HAD to post this stupid ass toy.

Edit: spelling.

1. No lavatory? I guess Barbie pees in a soda bottle on those long flights
to St. Tropez or wherever...

3. As the mom of a 4 year old girl..
Honestly, I'm not even slightly outraged by this.. and perhaps that should outrage me.

No, after the introduction of the BRATZ, MyScene Bling Dolls, etc.. and suddenly Barbie frankly is pretty vanilla anymore. And, if I gave this to my daughter, it would be with the "Pilot Barbie" so she could fly her own plane and make a career out of it. :)

It's all about the approach.. and frankly in my opinion there are way bigger things to worry about now days then my kid playing with a plastic airplane.

4. I love BRATZ, not for kids, I just think it's a great commentary on the times.
I never had children, and that might be a good thing!

BTW, Moms ROCK! :toast:

7. There entertaining for ME...
but then again, as a 32 year old.. I watch the Family Guy, Porn, and R rated movies... all things that are OK for me, but not my 4 year old. Bratz are also in that catagory. ;)

6. Oh, oh... Me, too! I always wanted these, too:

We always asked but never got.

We did ask for AND GET a play-house or fort, really a table cloth to fit over a card table that looked like a log cabin.

And we loved it!

Couldn't find a pic for the ad, but similar in concept:
