Captain Tuttle- "Obama's Afghanistan stategy a terrible mistake"
Edited on Wed Dec-09-09 11:42 AM by NJmaverick
Reports from various military officers report that Captain Tuttle was disturbed to hear Obama's plans for Afghanistan. In assorted meetings with the respected military expert, officers are recounting the Captains anger over what he considers a "short sighted policy, doomed to failure". The Capt, known for his bravery and keen military mind, pointed to the historical lessons learned in Vietnam. Beyond Vietnam the region has a long history of failed invasions. The failure to develop a regime that has popular support is also a critical element missing from Obama's plans. The Captain feels these plans will only lead to failure and unnecessary loss of life. Captain Tuttle is best known for being a fictional construct of Captain Pierce and Captain John on a popular broadcast comedy from the seventies.

For those that have read this far and is wondering what this post is about, it's an experiment. I am curious to see how many people read the posts they rec on or headline favoring a certain opinion all it takes.
