Just how “nice” of a guy is Obama?

I've heard variations of this before.

“Jimmy Carter, what a pleasant, humble man.”

“That Reagan...so avuncular.”

But really, if your dream is to run an empire for 4-8 years—-without the intention of dismantling it—-how nice of a guy can you be? When the notion of collateral damage becomes an acceptable reality, isn't it indicative that you've gone down a decidedly dark path?

I think a lot of the problems we are facing regarding the Congress and this continual mirage of "bipartisanship" with the likes of Boehner stem from what seems to be his intense personal desire to be liked by all and sundry.

Someone needs to tell our President that if some people don't like him, that's a sign he's making progress.

does not mean that you care when a Al Queda member is killed with his family.
