They didn't impeach Reagan. Made Ollie North a "Hero." They didn't impeach Bush. Made John Yoo
-- well that remains to be seen. Both these men circumvented the Constitution and the Congress and the American people to do their dirty work on behalf of their disreputable administrations -- aka "the government" (which is the rationale for the Obama administration's actions in the Yoo case).

They are criminals, violating the law in the name of upholding the law. Calling Ollie North a "hero" was the unavoidable marker of this nation really heading on its downward trajectory ... now we have another marker, a big Fuck Yoo. And we sit by while, whichever "side of the aisle" one's on, our government is run by hypocrites and outlaws who use the military or the court system to defile the integrity of the American system?

Anyone feeling a bit of deja vu, here?

5. Ollie North is on a book tour and he's much more dangerous than Palin.
He sounds rational, he's fairly well spoken and he speaks to white male privilege in flawless code.

I don't think he's all done doing damage to this country yet.

10. Ollie North was deemed "a hero" at the time as part of the non impeachment scam of
Iran/Contra. Same powers that be that didn't impeach Bush and Cheney.

11. It was jarring seeing felon Ollie North sitting in judgment on John Kerry's patriotism in 2004
never mentioning that his offense of lying under oath was to John Kerry, whose investigation was 100% on target. Kerry, took an enormous risk to do what was right when he was a freshman Senator. North belonged in jail, not on TV.
