It reminds me of the Conservative Bible Project translating it to "intellectual". A more accurate translation would be "old, rich, overly legalistic Jewish guy."

8. They'll have to start referring to themselves as "Tea1," "Tea2," "Tea3," etc...
Kind of like what churches do...("First," "Second," etc)

When you here<sic> 'first Baptist church of....' in the name of the church, it means that a while ago that church congregation had a split, and that the 'First' refers to the original church building. There will also be another church, often with same name, but it is the 'second Baptist church of...' They were the split part of the congregation.
