Well, I used to live in Buffalo and let me tell you.... lot's of snow doesn't faze anyone that lives there.

5. A "weatherman" on the morning shows this morning said...

"lake effect snow is not real snow."

So I don't see what the people of Buffalo have to complain about.

7. Just got back from Buffalo.

I am happy to report, Mr. Scorpio, that the predicted blizzard did not materialize. VERY high winds did occur, along with some modest amounts of snow.

The weatherman who said "lake effect snow is not real snow" is an idiot. However, lake effect snow does not faze the average Buffalonian. All Buffalo would shut down if it did.

I was there Tuesday through today (Thursday) for the funeral of my Uncle Dave -- magician, credit union manager, cut-up extraordinaire. I am going to miss that loud, crazy, soft-hearted sweetheart. R.I.P. Uncle Dave.
