6. My guess?
Someone unreced it because they are trying to convince people unrecs are evil. But who knows. Maybe it's because the ice berg picture is fake. Maybe it's because the quote is about snow sticking together and they just finished shoveling their driveway. Maybe someone tried to hit Rec and clicked on it wrong. Maybe their cat stepped on the mouse at an inopportune moment.

10. I like your "shoveling the driveway" theory.
I was out on a divide and conquer mission myself, earlier.

29. Agreed. And it's amazing how closely people pay attention to that.
Are people really sitting their just refreshing over and over again, watching the rec/unrec total?

17. Why unrec?
I'm just a "noob" (learned that word today), but I've already learned that unrecs are a badge of honor.

25. Why would you try to hijack a thread to talk about your pet peeve?
You and posters like you constantly try to hijack threads to talk about your obsession.

Why not stick to the topic at hand, which is a good one?

2. Wow, do you know who said this?
I googled it, but couldn't find the author.

I'm currently writing a story about a bunch of "selfish" snowflakes, who end up working
together and making a snowman for a little boy who is stuck inside with a broken leg.
I'm the homeroom mom in my daughter's 4th grade class, and I'm putting it together
for their winter party.

I've never heard the quote before...and given the story on which I'm working--I'm very intrigued!

Thanks for that quote. :-)

The snowflake and the prayer

God gave us the snowflake to show us what they can do when they stick together and he gave us prayer to give us a way to work together. A snowflake alone is a pretty sight, When combined with other flakes we see magnificence. Prayer alone provides peace and possibility, and when prayers are made together in unison for the same purpose, the world moves closer to bringing what was prayed for into being. The snowflake is soft and fragile, yet in the right environment it gets strong and survives where we cannot. The prayer like the snow flake and starts out soft, and like the snowflake given the right environment it gets as solid as a rock and withstands adversity One can only imagine the what the power of unified

Worldwide prayer can do. When all mankind is united then we will have heaven on earth for everyone

right after he invented the Mac, right after he invented Apple Corp, right after he invented the apple.
