Months and months of debate...

...and now watered down bullshit regarding health insurance reform.

An open checkbook, over and over again, for war.

What a country.

1. It's that coupled with the steaming pile of financial reforms that they are looking to pass....

which will hurt community banks and credit unions and strip states of the right to enact tougher legislations (so NC rules against predatory lending could be thrown out...decided on a case by case basis).

4. I am hoping that enough people will be mad and start financing progressive...truely progressive

candidates. I'm not entirely sure which is best. I think that the current politicians feel like Anyone But Bush will live forever so they can do whatever they want.

7. I wish we could have a national referendum on....

1) Public Financing of Elections

2) Pay & Benefits for elected officials (including healthcare and pensions - mainly no exemptions from Social Security and Medicare)

3) Healthcare - The Public Option

My fear is that if we could do this...how long before the referendum on

1) Abortion

2) Gay Marriage

3) Tax Limits
