we're on their list because we generally donate clothing and cash- although we can't do cash this time because of our current financial situation.

however- once the solicitor was done reading their script, i had to remind him that no soldier has shed any blood to actually 'protect my freedoms' since the end of world war 2.

1. Unrec for telling a group that stands for wounded veterans that

their service and sacrifice is essentially meaningless to you. I don't give a good goddamn what you believe about any of our military conflicts--but spout your beliefs to the civilians in charge, not the peons who paid the price.
