There are a few of us who take fun in everything we do. The rest of you call us "oddballs".

3. There's an amazing book... |

by Raph Koster. It's called _Theory of Fun for Video Game Design_, but it's really about fun in general. Why do kids enjoy Tic Tac Toe for a while, and then decide it's stupid? Why do video games with great graphics and sound and gameplay sit on the shelf gathering dust while technically inferior games get played over and over again?
It's really fascinating, and really practical. Imagine how much more productive your workplace could be if everyone found their work as compelling as a really good game.
