Does anyone here remember Carlos Jiacinto ??
I think he is posting once again on DU?

Do you remember the type of posts that he made?

Can you think of anyone posting here today that reminds you of Carlos? :-)

3. He also demanded that you apologize every time you disagreed with him.
Actually, I sort of liked Carlos because he put up a lot of interesting information.

10. I thought he was a sharp guy
Maybe a little hypersensitive and kind of a drama queen sometimes, but quite intelligent.

17. I think he liked to pour on depressing statistics, At least
he wasn't like some of our tiresome military experts here who have to depreciate every other nation's military weaponry vis a vis our own expensive toys.

20. Remember him well
He was an intersting cat, a mole of sorts, didn't really have it together IRL, but was an early keyboard commando. I can't even begin to count how many "Obama has failed me" posters remind me of him, now that you mention it

22. In the words of Monty Burns: "That takes me back..."
Yes, insipid latent libertarianism with outrageous self-indulgent expectations of privilege.

What a long, strange trip it's been...

because he's an observant Jew.

Yeah, I remember that woebegone idiot. I don't know what he's doing now, but for a while, if you can believe it, he worked for a Washington think tank.

26. It's funny you ask about Juan Carlos, because I read a post here
the other night that reminded me of him. I almost bookmarked it for future reference. Now, I wish I did.

I don't remember which poster, or which thread it was in. Sorry.

27. Two words; Ralph Nader
I would start threads with Ralph Nader in the title just to see how long it took for Carlos to find them and start the exploding head thing.

I almost miss him.

I really miss that Bob Balderdang, balderdash, whatever guy though.

But most of all, I miss hate mail.

30. I remember him moving to South Florida
Edited on Sat Dec-12-09 10:43 AM by trumad
and crying almost everyday about his plight down in Sun City.

I tried to help him with things to do in South Florida, but he seemed content to wallow in his sad state of mind.

I think he was Internet Bi-Polar.

remind me of Carlos but I don't necessarily think he's back. I think the commonality here is the blind zealotry.
