Have Blue Dog(or GOP) been asked why they oppose public option when their constituents want it?
Wouldn't that simple question put them in a political headlock? They would either have to say they know better than their constituents what they need or that their own bank accounts and future jobs as lobbyists or insurance company CEOs or board members matter more.

If someone has seen them be asked the question, I would like to see a clip.

If not, we should ask every news show they go on why they haven't asked such a question, until one does, so we can post it.

I would especially like to hear why Harry Reid gave up since in his role as senate majority leader, he should represent the needs of all Americans, not just the casino and brothel owners of Nevada.

1. I think we should insist that all who vote against health care
give up their own. Really, if they're so principled that they believe someone shouldn't be covered, then they should be principled enough to give up their own evil health care.

2. Seems like it would be an obvious question to me

Maybe THAT is the problem. Too obvious for our brain-dead corporate media whores. Of course, I'm sure that even they don't want to embarrass their corporate benefactors either.

I also believe that if our Congressmen/Senators believe that government-run/government subsidized health insurance and other benefits are bad, then they should give up their own health insurance, Medicare, Social Security, etc. That way the rest of us can use the money to take care of ourselves and those less fortunate among us.

but most of us will struggle to pay the premiums.

9. Whatever we should have to deal with......
THEY should have to deal with as well IMHO. Unfortunately, unlike them, few of us are making anywhere near what they are making, so it will always be harder for us than them. There shouldn't have to be such a dichotomy ("us" and "them") in our society.

3. Do you have any data...
...to support the assertion that there are blue dogs or GOP whose constituents are in favor of the public option?

4. you confuse "constituent" with "voter"
I'm sure that they listen well to the "consituents" that donate heavily to their campaigns, particularly healthcare and pharmaceutical companies.

Money talks louder than votes.

6. Do you expect the "Liberal" Media
to ask questions negative to the republicans. After all the "Liberal" Media owned by corporate republicans only do what republicans want.

10. We the unworthy serfs are undeserving of an answer from the DLC...
My guess is that's the DLC's attitude toward us, the serf class.

13. My home district is split about 50/50
This is from a stamtment released by my Reps office which stated that about half of those who contact his office(s) via e-mail or phone oppose health care reform while the other half support it.
