That's what I'm reduced to until my FIL leaves.

Hate Faux. HATE HATE HATE.

Can't wait to change the channel to basketball in 30 min.

2. I have a FIL w/ the same mindset.
I have mastered 'Miss Manners' methods of dealing w/him.

I am polite, aloof, and look at him as though I pity him.

It's working very well.

11. You should be able to do it with your remote
go to "Menu" select "parental controls" (or similar) and go through the steps. A link to someone with a similar question:

Hope that helps :)

13. Dad didn't much care for Limbaugh being banned
in my home. He also didn't like that reading matter was not allowed in the only bathroom. He claimed that I was infringing on his rights; I asserted that he was free to exercise those rights at the Motel 6 down the road. Then I smiled and said, "As long as you're under MY roof..." He didn't like it, not one bit, but he complied with my wishes; he knew he'd find his suitcase packed and on the porch otherwise.

14. If he hunts, talk over the TV and tell him all about Huckabee wounding the deer.
Rave about what a wonderful hunter he is to wound a deer from too far away to get a clean kill and how loyal he is to his fans for leaving it to suffer so he wouldn't be late for a political appearance in another city. He is certainly a shining example for all wanna-be hunters everywhere. You know, the kind that never wear a hat unless they're at a sports bar or hunting, that drive from the suburbs in a fancy car with a cooler full of beer to go shoot at anything that moves in woods they'd never enter without an excuse to shoot at stuff. Those great hunters just LOVE Huckabee.

I can't imagine a REAL hunter ever voting for him after what he did. Real hunters take responsibility for animals they wound, find them (hunt), and finish the job.
