Tea Party "Patients" to Storm Senate Offices
I wonder if those folks who are eligible will willingly halt their Medicare payments, too?

Tea Party "Patients" to Storm Senate Offices

The next major Capitol Hill protest, planned for Tuesday, plans to simulate dying inside the Senate office buildings. Here's a direct quote:

"So here's the plan... We call this plan 'Government Waiting Rooms.' The intention is to go inside the Senate offices and hallways, and play out the role of patients waiting for treatment in government controlled medical facilities. As the day goes on some of us will pretend to die from our untreated illnesses and collapse on the floor. Many of us plan to stay there until they force us to leave."

1. Who will simulate those who die because they have no insurance at all?

2. It sounds like something to do if you are FOR health care reform and not against.
But these folks...not the brightest bulbs on how their actions could be construed.

3. I guess these people haven't been to a hospital for several decades

I took my little sister to the hospital just a couple of months ago, I think we waited in the waiting room for 6 hours for a as-of-then-unknown problem that had her wheezing and gasping for her air.

And, uh, teabaggers, it was NOT a private hospital.

4. Link to source here, and a funny reply:
http://taxdayteaparty.com/2009/12/tea-party-patriots-to-storm-senate-offices/

"The best run healthcare system in the US is government run. Get a clue, do some research, read perhaps. Look at the VA. It’s a single-payer system and it is not only-cost efficient but delivers outstanding healthcare metrics.

You are simply the most idiotic people on this planet."

5. Hopefully they'll be charged the cost of the rescue services that respond to their stunt.
Can the GOP do anything other than place games and pull stunts?

6. Best bet here would be for Billionaires for Wealthcare to show up and thank them for standing up (or
lying down) for their profits.

7. These morons prefer...
the role of patients being denied coverage in corporate controlled medical facilities.
