great historian.
The program doesn't air for a couple more hours in Alaska, but I've read the book.
If it's what I expect, I plan to purchase copies of the program and send them to a few people.

I'd love to have a couple of copies to give as gifts. My son had Zinn as a guest lecturer last year, got to shake his hand and talk to him.

9. He's controversial and hated on the Right |

This program, and Zinn's new two-volume "A Young People's History of the United States" have already been condemned as socialist propaganda and America-hate aimed at your people.
My grandchildren are only 3 and 4, but I grabbed the books to make sure they were in the library when they are ready.
I think your son was fortunate to meet him. Too few like him.
If a couple people like Howard Zinn and Bernie Sanders were to radicalize a bit more, they might be able to rally enough people to force some change. I've written both of them suggesting it.

Though it is still a cable station. Pity one of the big networks didn't have the spine to show it so more people would see it.

When the soon to be executed Indian priest was asked, as he was about to be burned to death while being hung, whether he'd rather not convert to Christianity before he died, so as to go to Heaven...
The Indian priest asked: "Where do Christians go after they die?"
After being told by his executioner that Christians went to Heaven, the condemned Indian resounded, "That he'd rather go to Hell."
