Global Warming = Security Threat
Pentagon, CIA Eye New Threat: Climate Change
by Tom Gjelten

Global warming is now officially considered a threat to U.S. national security.

For the first time, Pentagon planners in 2010 will include climate change among the security threats identified in the Quadrennial Defense Review, the Congress-mandated report that updates Pentagon priorities every four years.

The reference to climate change follows the establishment in October of a new Center for the Study of Climate Change at the Central Intelligence Agency.

But the new attention to climate concerns among U.S. security officials does not mean the Pentagon and the CIA have taken sides in the debate over the validity of data on global warming. As with nuclear terrorism, deadly pandemics or biological warfare, it only means they want to be prepared.

And this story has been percolating out there for several months:

Climate Change Seen as Threat to U.S. Security
By JOHN M. BRODER
Published: August 8, 2009

Question; If GW is now officially a threat to national (and from the quotes, international) security problem, then why are not those that finance and actively promote anti-Global Warming lies/rhetoric, rumors, etc. considered aiding and abetting a threat to our national interests?

Does not the fact that our generals now are strategically planning specifically for this eventuality (cataclysmic changes prompting international actions) put those professional deniers, especially those with their alleged skin in the game like the dig and burn energy companies, US Chamber of Commerce, the former administration aides from the B*** administration that deliberately censored out important Global Warming information from official reports and repressed other scientific findings, and those that finance and promote and catapult non-stories through their corporate owned fascist media outlets, like the recent email hacking story from UK in the same corner as terrorists? Aiding and abetting something that is counter to our national security? Aren't they liable for more potential damage to humanity than any dozen Arab "terrorists"?

Like the folks we find funding the lies:
