Obama has backtracked and stalled on too many issues.

15. The Afghan War, Now that it's our War it's a good War!
New Bumper Sticker I will have made for 2012...

Seriously... the man has some time to ensure I cast my vote for him again, if the elections were held today I would be looking for a third party cantidate. Not much hope left here... And I won't be buying into that pile of steaming horseshit again... Show me action, give me hope... as it's fading... fading fast...

26. You must ALL have great health care & think you'll NEVER be denied
Edited on Tue Dec-15-09 01:59 AM by GreenTea
coverage, nor will you ever get sick....

However, there are tens of millions working people who can't afford the insurance companies rates & policies or are simply denied cover, (pre-existing condition).

Also the tens of millions more workers who don't have adequate insurance, paying for insurance cost that actually covers very little, if any of the medical cost.

And the tens of millions more who worry if they will be denied coverage, if a very costly medical problems does arise after paying insurance companies outrageous premium cost for years.

Obama solution is to stay in the background, never DEMANDING a strong public option...instead trying to cater to republicans Olympia Snowe and Joe Lieberman and other paid off republicans & blue dogs (ala DLC & Rahm Emanuel) by the insurance companies simply to stall and stop any bill that would hurt the insurance companies profits.

All so the Obama administration can point to a bill any bill a watered down piece of shit that won't hold insurance companies to face any real changes nor competition.

Just so they can say they passed a bill.

Screw the other 56 or so Democratic senators, as long as the insurance companies and the republicans and Olympia Snowe and Joe Lieberman are happy, and screw the the tens of millions of working people paying their taxes (billions of dollars) that the insurance companies gobbles up every year for even more obscene profits.

Yes, I will bet you have great health insurance or you think you'll never get sick because you are young enough to believe the bullshit.

People are truly hurting and by catering to the same people who only want only to help the insurance corporations secure profits, just to get a bill any bill passed is shameless.

31. Nope
However, if the House Bill would have been the actual bill, I'd have no problem.

I understand the process, the House Bill had to be the liberal bill and the Senate bill would be the conservative one.

When I saw what happened in the House, I knew for all effective purposes, we were frakked.
