and Hadassah......how much do you think they get from big insurance and how much do you think would be enough to get them to do the MORAL thing and support the right to affordable healthcare of other Americans who need help YESTERDAY?

6. His price is respect
His tender little ego is still smarting over the lack of support he got in his abortive 2004 presidential run ("Joementum") and being dumped by the Democratic party in the 2006 Senate primary. He has a major hard on for the Democrats and he's enjoying what he does too much to quit.

Call it revenge of the nerd. He's loving it.

19. Anyone who is willing to put people through this to boost their own ego
is beyond redemption. If he were a dog he'd have to be put down.

7. Would HAVE to be more efficient (and ultimately cheaper) than running ads against the SOB. ;)
Edited on Mon Dec-14-09 05:41 PM by blm
Not just Lieberman, but, ALL the other Dem asshats. Match and BETTER the going rate for Dem corporate shills.

It HAS to be cheaper and QUICKER than dragging bills like this out for months while they move the bill further to the right.

9. Lieberman, if he pulls this off, will really go down in flames after the fact.
Everybody is hating him for what he's doing and frankly I'm worried that some not so stable person who has had bad things happen to him because of our health system might try to assassinate him.

and have everyone come to a big party and tell him how wonderful he is. Smile, nod, drink too much, go home, throw up.

What he wants is approval. He's got all the money he needs from the insurance industry.

But something tells me that Joe Lie only accepts solid gold, and cash from his corporate masters.

13. No, this is a grudge match. He hates us progressives. He was a rejected suitor.
he was disrespected by his party in CT. He's vain and he's hurt. That is weightier than all the gold in the world...and besides, he's got more than enough from his friends in the health insurance industry.

I hope this comes down on his head and his reputation BIG TIME. I hope he is covered in slime and shame...

14. He respects and covets money - if all the people in the US sent in money
maybe we could give some to the senators and representatives so that they would enact good laws to help the people of the USA.

Oh, wait - that's called taxation and their salaries, perks, benefits, and slush funds....and they aren't really doing shit for us anyway......

Lieberman is a fucking crook, just like the rest of them - just more openly sociopathic than some.

mark
