Fox "News" bragging that WH pressuring Reid to "cut a deal" with Lieberman.
Edited on Mon Dec-14-09 05:47 PM by Faryn Balyncd

"Congressional staff familiar with negotiations said the White House is strongly urging Reid to work with Lieberman to eliminate the Medicare provision."

How much shit will we stand for?

Isn't it time to cut Lieberman loose & proceed to Reconciliation?

11. I hope your optimism is correct...How do you think we should deal with Lieberman's demands to have..
Edited on Mon Dec-14-09 06:53 PM by Faryn Balyncd

...neither a public option nor a Medicare buy-in?

On edit, this should probably be broken into 2 questions: (1.) How do you think we should respond, and (2.) How do you think the White House, Reid, and fellow Senators should respond?

14. Well, he's already said he's happy that the public option is no longer public. His second demand..

....is that the Medicare buy-in be eliminated.

I hope your optimism is justified.

If, per chance, Lieberman's second demand is granted, and the Medicare buy-in is eliminated, will this result in a bill you think we should support?
