5. Hey, that's my bank!
At least it is this month. Who will be administering my pitifully small deposits next month? Who can say? Sure wish there was still a savings and loan industry. But we had to kill that back in the 1980s so that Charles Keating could buy some senators like John Sidney McCain III. And so that Neil Bush could walk away from the smoking ruin of Silverado S&L with a pile of money.

7. We need more of this around the country and at other banks.
If people paid attention to their board of directors and held them accountable for the actions they didn't take against their CEOs and mangements it might be a different story. Hold the damn boards accountable for approving those high salaries and benefits by kicking them off the boards.

8. We were at WaMu for years, things change, Chase buys WaMu - Chase runs in...
With some of the strangest actions. We had one card that was never more than $500 on a $2,000 card, just for bizz gas rental cars hotels meals, etc, and that's it - always paid off double & treble and never ever late...they closed it for the lamest reason and raised the interest rate on the other one that floats a little deeper but was serviced in like manner

Husband calls in talks to a Rep, she goes back & forth citing boiler plate chapter & verse hubby cancels the 2nd card on top of her threats of negative credit scoring...

He suggests she have a nice day terminating the call, within a week later...

A so-called Chase Retention Specialist calls in and begins demanding case sensitive info, hubby probes as to her legitimacy, she refuses to confirm her relationship with Chase demanding to know if the number she called was indeed the number she called and if he were indeed the person she thought she called  they go round & round hubby asks if she has his acct on-screen, she confirms complete with full SS# but refuses to confirm her intent or relationship with Chase while continuing to demand his mother's maiden name. Hubby asks for her operator number and she hangs up the phone in his ear without further discussion

Fuck Chase!!

We're going to Golden One
