psssst...it's not Joe

Joe Lieberman is a distraction.
So are the Repukes because we know where they stand.

It's every single Democrat that has turned their back on us regarding real health care reform.

3. Joe Lieberman is still in the caucus
It appears whenever anything controversial needs to be done, Joe gets trotted out.

5. He's the only member of the Democratic Caucus that won't agree with the other 59 members.
And, he's the only one holding up the passage of this thing.

Sure, no one has managed to get all of their wishes granted in the final form, but gradual progress in spite of compromise is the way things happen to move forward.

If you're a union member you've seen this principle first hand in contract negotiations.

Lieberman's ploy is just another calculated power play. He's hoping that he'll be accepted with open arms when he changes his mind about who he caucuses with next year.

He's the kind of guy who bows and scrapes to whatever ascendant power he divines is on the horizon in the hopes of making a few bucks off of the scraps from their tables.

13. I'm not convinced he is the only one holding things up. There may be others who would oppose it but
he got out front before them. If he decided to change his mind, we'd probably hear next from one of the usual suspects.

6. Wise and correct, SHRED. But few will accept what you have to say
It's so much easier to demonize one man, one "lone nut," than to acknowledge the extent to which the system is rotten.

You have, with respect, my rec.

15. Former Chairman of the DLC Joe Lieberman...
..is taking one for the DLC TEAM since he has nothing to lose.

If Team DLC needed another DLC Dem to fall on their sword to protect Corporate Profits, they could easily command one.

24. Agreed. Obama is 95% responsible for this mess.
I see Rahm's fingerprints all over this mess. I think the President has been in complete control of the process from top to bottom.

I am very disappointed in him.
