Can someone send me a copy of any state's "sore loser" law?
I live in Connecticut and want to start a drive to get my state to pass a "sore loser" law so that in the future morally depraved politicians, like Lieberman, can't run as an unaffiliated party candidate after losing their party's primary. I know it's late to stop Lieberman, but better to close the loophole so future Liebermans can't use it.

1. Didn't know such a thing existed in any state.
I'm looking forward to seeing any replies.

Also, I've been wondering what Ned Lamont must be thinking these days.

2. I'm a fellow nutmegger
And our fellow nutmeggers is what got Joe the heartless reelected. My beef is with all those imbeciles that voted for Joe instead of Ned Lamont. Mass stupidity is alive and well even in liberal well educated Connecticut!

3. I think what you want to research is 'ballot access laws' for third parties or
independents. In some states, a certain percentage of the voters must register for a third party to appear on the ballot (Florida requires 5% to register or 3% of the voters in total). In some, they must submit a certain number of voters' signatures before a certain deadline. There are sometimes differences in the requirements for an independent vs. a third party candidate, as was true in Arkansas prior to 2006.
