It sounds very similar, i thought it was BS then. It seems like BS now, can anyone enlighten me to the differences between them?

2. Bear in mind, I'm not defending it
Thanks to Al Franken and another Senator, there's an amendment that the health insurance in the exchange has to be essentially non-profit. It requires that 90% of revenues be spent on actual health care, not profit or salaries or advertisement.

I don't know the status of that amendment. I can't believe Lieberman would let us have that, either.

3. The Mass mandate is basically trying to force my 21 y/o. to buy
company insurance that she can't afford to use (on part-time wages) because of the 2000 yearly deductible. It's not even catastrophic insurance as it is an 80/20 plan. This is extortion.

5. I was in the same boat, scraping to get by and no insurance. I couldn't
afford what the law was going to dictate me to buy. It is totally extortion. So the national plan is similar to this then? If so that sucks. People can't afford food/rent/mortgage and insurance already. For many they will be trying to get blood from a stone. It really is Rich/Corporations vs the rest of us anymore. 95% Our Dems are the moderate wing of the Republican Party. It is truly disgusting...

7. It actually is based on Romney's bill.
Congress has pushed this from the beginning.
