Four Soldiers, Including Two British, Killed In Afghanistan

(RTTNews) - A suicide-bomb attack on a joint forces patrol in southern Afghanistan has killed two soldiers each from Afghan army and the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).

Two Taliban militants riding on an explosive-laden motorbike rammed into a military convoy in the Sangin district of Helmand Tuesday afternoon, reports quoting Defense officials said.

It was the third bomb attack in the country Tuesday, which together claimed 17 lives.

The ISAF troops are from Britain. It coincides with the arrival of additional British troops in Afghanistan to help reinforce NATO's efforts to step-up its fight against the insurgency.
