Is Joe Lieberman still a member in good standing of Rahm's DLC? |
|
I cant find any info on whether Joe is still in the DLC with Rahm Emanuel.
I'm assuming he is still a DLC member in good standing, and that other DLC members such as Rahm Emanuel still share common goals with Joe.
Am a wrong?

4. Which would make his membership in Rahm's DLC a strange thing. |
|
Or would it?
Perhaps the DLC & Rahm allows and agrees with conservative, Pro-Bush, 3rd party types.

12. He refers to himself as an Independent Democrat |
|
and, IMO, most likely does so in order to remain a DLC member.

14. So Rahm's DLC allows conservative, pro Bush, 3rd party types in their organization. |

16. No proof since they're secretive about membership, but I'd bet a bundle of money |
|
that Lieberman is still a member.
The one thing about which there's no doubt is that DLC enables neocons.

18. Their secrecy about & agreements with Joe gives us license to assume he is with them. |
|

Joe is a founding member of the DLC, and DLC FOUNDER Al From ran his 3rd party run.
I could be wrong, but it might be safe to assume that Joe & Rahm are still DLC members together.

19. He lost the Dem primary. He left the party. offically. I dont know why is on any |
|
committee taking the place away from a real Democrat. Reid's leaving him on committees, actually tips the balance in favor of the republicans.... same with Baucus..

21. If Rahm had put more of the money |
|
people conributed to Lamont, Liberman wouldn't have won. He thought he had a shoo in with Liberman and that he would jump thru hoops for the democrats. We see he isn't, the sore head is jumping thru hoops for the republicans.

22. Al From, FOUNDER of Rahm's DLC ran Joe's campaign against the Democrat. |
|
Edited on Tue Dec-15-09 03:28 PM by Dr Fate
I've never once heard Rahm say that he disagreed with Al From's decision, or that Al should punished, censured, etc.
Rahm's DLC never meant for the legit Democratic nominee to even have a chance.
I doubt Rahm ever thought that Joe would jump hoops for "the Democrats"- unless you mean conservative Democrats & DLC types.
Rahm knew Joe was a pro-Bush conservative, and he knows Joe is a conservative who campaigned for Sarah Palin now.

13. If being a registered Democrat is a requirement for membership, then |
|
it seems their rules wouldn't allow him being welcomed. But, I really don't know what their rules are so maybe they do allow members from other parties.

17. I never heard one single word about Joe ever being drummed out... |
|
...or being completely stripped of his membership.
And since they are too cowardly to even post their membership list, it's fair to assume that they do allow Concervatives who camapaign for Sarah Pailin in their organization.

Considering his buddy-buddy status with the White House, it's probabaly safe to assume that he is still on the roster, right there with Rahm Emmanuel.
Interesting that the DLC does not publish their membership list- sounds like they are hiding the ball in their usual, dishonest way.

|
Maybe Obama should get some people in the WH who look after us. Non DLCers would be a great start.

7. That group is so popular, they don't list all their members in Congress on their website anymore |
|
and I remember during the election, Obama made a big hooha about making them take his name off their website, which in retrospect was a dishonest move.

10. DLCers lie a lot. Removing the membership list is a form of lying. |
|
At the least, it's hiding the ball and only allowing half-truths to light.
Typical DLC behavior. So dishonest and 2 faced that they cant even tell us WHO they are.
