Mine did. I don't really care - it always seemed like a silly excess anyway.

3. Shit! What a bastard!
Probably went to midnight Christmas Eve services with a pious smile on his face.

Someday, we'll take the power away from those types and run this world for the good of all.

well in advance.

6. Yep - don't know if it was to save money or just lack of enthusiasm
I was glad last year they dropped the gift exchange and opted for Toys for Tots.

One thing I liked was the boss took us to lunch instead of the stupid reviews we used to do. What a wasteful BS that was especially since anything I suggested wasn't even acted on. But always fun to hear the complaints of anonymous co-workers who didn't have the guts to ask to my face.

7. I never got a christmas bonus in my working life- I started working at 14,
retired at 59.

My bonus this year is that I got a med change today, saving me $100 a month just on one 30 day supply of pills.

Here comes Santa Claus.

8. I think I got like $50 or $100 once in my life
Been working since I was 19 and now am 57.

Amazing to me how all the big shots except for 2 salesguys forget how the IT, clerical, warehouse, etc., help make things work for their accounts & provide them with all the lookups & reports.

Hell it's rare to even get a thank you for a report they ask you for at 4:00PM for their overdue forecast that you have to develop on the fly.

9. They all believe they support you - you would not have that great job
if it were not for the captains of industry out there drinking lunch and playing tennis.
