HC reform: Start over from square 1 by repealing the insurer monopoly exemption.
The first piece of HC reform legislation should be to repeal the exemption and break up all mega insurance companies into much smaller entities.

Repeal of this exemption should be the only provision of this "starter" bill. No additional amendments.

This is not the bill for a PO or SP or any other larger reform.

Start with this repeal and only this repeal. Once mega insurance companies have been broke up then America can move forward with meaningful healthcare.

Once the corrupting influence of mega insurance companies is no longer in the picture or severly weakened, then comes the time to push for a PO or better.

HC reform may need to be done in steps.

2. Many elected Dems now know that HC should've started with this repeal.
We've seen nothing but corrupting influence from the HC lobby.

3. Makes sense to me too,
but Liebermann will never allow it. I'm beginning to think he has more dirt on the members of Congress than J. Edgar Hoover did.
