I'm guessing Bull Connor would still be riding high.

1. It's pretty bad when you start to think
LBJ was a better president than Obama will ever be.

2. Lieberman was a Freedom Rider
You might be guessing wrong.

3. OK, he used to PRETEND to be a Democrat.
That means about as much as Charlton Heston being at the March on Washington.

I'm talking about where he'd be on that if he was TODAY's Joe.

6. I think the OP meant today's Lieberman, not the Lieberman of the '60s.

Lieberman hit his peak in the '60s, and has gone downhill since then, to the point where I actually respect that forked-tongue snake Arlen Specter more than Lieberman.

9. I think the OP really just meant to stir up some shit
Ken hit his peak suggesting that Obama should resign if we lose the Senate in 2010. A simple boilerplate anti-Lieberman thread? He's barely bothering to phone it in.

10. Why would you object to an anti-Lieberman thread?
The man will never have any redeeming moments again, and there's no reason for you to be offended at anything anyone would say about him.

You're just trying to silence anyone who questions the DLC and the Blue Dogs.

5. Joe was a Freedom Rider.
Some speculate that is why Obama keeps him as his buddy.

7. That just means Joe had part of a soul back then
Joe's actions this week show he's forgotten everything he believed in back then.

8. Funny, he also could not decide whether or not Obama was a commie
