Open Letter to the AFL-CIO:
Dear Union Leaders,

I call upon you to call upon all members of all unions in this country to wage a general strike in the nation to last until the Congress passes and the President signs a Health Care Reform Bill that includes no less than a "Medicare for All" option.

The workers of this country are not being heard above the fat-cat corporatists. Make them listen to us. We need your help.

Thank you.

1. As a Union member, I can't really agree with this
See, there will not be a "Medicare for all" option. And if all Union members go on strike, they will just outsource to China or somewhere and we will be fucked. Not only Union people, but all of us.
I have contacted the AFL-CIO and suggested that we make our voices heard but a general strike is impractical. We have to stay alive. And we have to work to do that.

A public option would be reasonable. MEdicare for all is pushing it tho.

5. I got news probably nearly 1/2 the rank and file union members
are Republicans. You know what happened to the Unions, their members got health insurance and good wages then got selfish and changed into Republicans.

6. The time for that has long passed, the rank and file would
have gladly taken on RR when he fired the air traffic controllers. Trouble is the fat cat Union bosses are bought and paid for just like the politicians.
