Don't Get Offended, Don't Give Up, Get Organized

As of late I have been seeing a number of posts in which individuals have threatened to give up on the Democratic Party, Democratic Underground, or the political process. To those people I say do not give up. What people really need to do is to get more involved. I know that some of you have already tried writing letters and taking other actions. I suggest that you now try to get your friends, family, and others involved in the process. In addition, if you do not like the action being taken by particular politicans try to organize to get them kicked out of office. I know there have been some cases in which people have tried to get people like Joe Lieberman kicked out of office and the efforts have failed. I say just try again and keep trying. Things are not going to get better if everyone just decides to give up on the process. We are going to need more people to get involved in order to get things done. I am still willing to believe that if millions of Americans get involved they will be able to affect change.
