How did your senator vote on the Dorgan amendment?
The "yes" vote was the pro-consumer vote. The amendment offered by Senator Dorgan would have allowed the importation of less expensive pharmaceutical drugs from Canada and a few other countries.

1. Both of my allegedly "Democratic" senators voted against it.
And they aren't the only names I didn't expect to see on the wrong side of this one. :evilfrown:

4. Both nay
from the supposed "liberal" senators of NY. I never liked that Schumer and I guess that appointee Gilli...whatever her name is, is showing her true colors. These people make me sick.

I'm not surprised Franken did - but Klobuchar surprises me a bit. She's a closet Blue Dog.

10. One and One
It is interesting that Senator Webb who used to be a Republican voted yes. While he isn't as progressive as I would like, he does come through for us many times. And then the other, Marc Warner, is truly a businessman first and a Dem second. He will always vote for the corporation instead of the consumer.

24. Senator Dodd voted against the amendment. I hope that Ralph Nader runs there now.
Dodd is a slimy whoring sack of shit.

First, his sweetheart mortgage, the bailout cheerleading and now this.

Dodd needs to go.

I hope Ralph runs now.
