Is Lieberman misunderstood, or is he what he appears to be? |
|
What's going on? The guy used to be a sort of champion of working people & Obama's mentor. Does he have a real & legitimate message about healthcare, or is he full of shit & gone completely nuts? What's the straight skinny?

Al Gore sold us a line of shit about something that wasn't true, like Joe being a qualified back up.
I'm sure he will be all over the networks tomorrow to rebuke Joe, and apologize for picking him to be his VP choice.

4. He's a soulless sociopath. |
|
He'll do absolutely anything for power, including killing 45,000 people a year by obstructing a bill that could pass with a majority vote.

He'll always look for an opportunity to be in the spotlight and appear self righteous. History will not look kindly upon him but that's cold comfort and certainly not helpful to the present situation

8. Holy Joe is as crooked as a West Virginia shortcut. |
|
He works for the corporations, not the people.
Unless those people live in Israel.

11. I don't think Lieberman's opposition to HCR has anything to do with the HCR bill at all. |
|
He wanted something from Reid, or Obama, and they said "No, we can't do that for you." And now he's pouting.
And a half million people will die over the next ten years because Holy Joe is acting like a brat.

haven't been explored at all I think. This is going on for some profound or mundane reasons. But what are they???

I know that sounds like a cop-out or a poor attempt at being witty, but it's not intended to be either.
I think he is what he appears to be but that what he appears to be is largely misunderstood, by pretty much everyone.
And I include myself in that.
I say this for a simple reason. One can suggest several, legitimate motivations for his behavior, and all those motivations have ample evidence to support them. However, many of those same, supportable suggestions of motivations are contradictory, meaning it can't be all of them.
... unless he's simply psychotic, which I'm also not willing to rule out.
