Why does the Today Show insist on having Jenna Bush on each week?? |
|
She is God-Awful. OK, I know I must be bitter. I have been trying to get into the News business for 10 years now (since I don't have the experience, I can't get on TV - why did I go to school again??). This little witch is able to get a job just based on her name alone. She has no emotion and is a terrible story-teller. Great job NBC.

Bush lovers will tune in to see her. Bush haters will tune in to see her. It's a win-win for everyone.

6. Grandpa made a phone call... |
|
...and whaddyaknow? Granddaughter has a job.
I don't see how people like this live with themselves. They have jobs only because someone influential made a phone call. When they're constantly surrounded by talented people who have worked hard and built their careers on talent and sweat--it must be humiliating.
Then again, she's a Bush. I doubt she cares.

8. Why they don't even bat an eye & are not humiliated |
|
They've been socialized to believe that the ends justify the means. That's why people like that rarely care HOW someone got rich (after all, behind every great fortune is a great crime)...only that they ARE rich.
Jenna is a BE person, as in "I wanna be a TV personality". She's not a DO person, as in "I want to use my well-known name to help make life better for those traveling the dark journey with us all".
No conscience, no problem. Remember: Mother LAURA actually KILLED her boyfriend. Did that cause any problems for her at any point to date? No conscience, no problem.

11. How do you think Chelsea Clinton got her job |
|
Hard work?
Politicians' children have always gotten ahead by using their well-known name to help make life better for themselves.
